He was born in Berlin on January 17, 1936 the son of Fernando and Angeline (Labbe) Pinette and was a lifelong resident. John Pinette got his first big break as a stand-up comedian in Frank Sinatra’s tour. He made his small screen debut in 1990, appearing as Howie Anderson in the sitcom ‘ALF’. The following year, he appeared as a referee in the game show ‘The Grudge Match’.
Pinette died of natural causes Saturday at a hotel in Pittsburgh, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office said Sunday evening.
